What does the Law internship experience involve?
This three-day virtual experience will take place between 14th and 16th July and is designed to help you build your legal network, gain direct insights into a range of world-renowned law firms and develop all the key skills you need to stand out in future applications. This is what you can expect from your internship experience:
Day 1 (9am – 5:30pm):
You’ll gain core skills, insights and top tips by attending different sector workshops throughout the day. These sessions will be delivered by trainee solicitors, partners and graduate recruitment teams from Allen & Overy, Clyde & Co, Herbert Smith Freehills, Sidley Austin and Slaughter and May.
Day 2 (9am – 4:30pm):
Begin a work project to simulate real-life work experience at a law firm. Our partner employers and recent law graduates will support you in every step of the process – a great opportunity to build personal connections in the world of work.
Day 3 (9am – 2pm):
On the last and final day, you’ll be given some additional time to finalise your project and submit. You'll take part in a session all about applying to top employers and celebrate completing the end of the internship experience.

Am I eligible and how do I apply?
The law internship experience is open to every student and recent graduate over the age of 18. All you require is Bright Network membership which is completely free, and you can complete when you start your application.
