Ibrahim is a partner and the head of international arbitration practice at 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐚 & 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐦. He has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration, arbitration-related litigation, and complex banking and finance litigation. Ibrahim was part of the team that resisted the enforcement of a USD 180,000,000 CRCICA Arbitral Award before the Egyptian Court of Cassation. Also, Ibrahim has led the team which was successful in annulling a CRCICA arbitral award before the Egyptian Court of Cassation on the ground of partiality of one of the arbitrators for the first time. Further, Ibrahim regularly represents clients in the Construction and Renewable Energy sectors in the Middle East and the African Continent.

Before joining Shehata & Partners, Ibrahim was a Senior Associate at 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐰𝐲 & 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐦. Ibrahim also holds an LL.M degree from New York University (NYU) and is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate in International Arbitration at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
